Why a photographer built a date checker
Most of what determines whether your wedding photos turn out beautifully has nothing to do with your photographer’s gear. It has to do with light, timing, and a dozen small details nobody thinks to check until it’s too late. Will the sun be in your eyes during the ceremony? Is the Cardinals game going to clog every parking garage near your downtown venue? Is your reception going to happen under a full moon or a pitch black sky?
We built this tool because we got tired of couples finding out the hard way. It checks real weather patterns for the St. Louis area, calculates actual sunset and golden hour times for your specific date, looks at moon phase, checks our own calendar for availability, and even checks Cardinals, Blues, and major St. Louis events for that day. It is the same thinking we bring to every wedding we shoot, just available to you before you’ve even booked anyone.
