I’ve been meaning to write this piece for a while.
I’m generally reluctant to make public recommendations. It isn’t that they aren’t deserved, but I’m a bit of a control freak; and if I recommend someone and they don’t match my standards, it could reflect on me. But with respect to wedding venues, there is one I can recommend without reservation: The Olde Wicks Factory, in Highland, Illinois.

2. West Hall

3. Main Hall

This is the “big” room of the property, and also the newest one to be finished. It can seat 500 comfortably, has two bars, and is absolutely stunning! Open and airy with gorgeous chandeliers, this is the one for your large event!

This space features exposed rafters, brass chandeliers, 4 groups of tufted leather couches and other seating arrangements, 4 bar height tables and stools, 2 appetizer buffet spaces, and a beautiful and well-equipped bar.
